Wanted - iOS Geek to help in forums

Postby Carlos » Tue Jan 11, 2011 8:32 pm

Do you use Remote Potato for iOS? Are you a geek who fancies sparing some time to help us out?

I'm on the look out for a new forum moderator to add to our talented, cool team of experts. Somebody who can moderate the forums (particularly the iOS forum) and answer any basic support requests.

The ideal forum mod will:
- know their stuff and enjoy using the iOS app
- have a good knowledge of networking, Media Center and Remote Potato.

If this sounds like you, and you have a little time to spare to help us out, please drop me a PM, saying why you think you'd be good for the gig. There's no payment, it's a voluntary position - but you do get the unique status of being a forum mod in an exciting, bleeding edge community! And the satisfaction of helping out people with their problems, of course.. ;)

Carlos,

I know my way around my ipod touch very well and although I don't have an Iphone, I do have experince of Windows XP / Vista as well if this would be of interest in general amnd I normally solve most technical problems at home with the computers.

If only I had the time to mod another forum :(

That said, I'm not that clever on Apple products anyway ;D

I fit the bill but life is extremely busy lately. New life and all that. xD

I'll make an effort to show my face more though!

I hope you dont have a minimum post count because if you dont I think I would be perfect. I am a extremly tech minded person, and hae knowledge of use with Windows Xp, 7 ultimate and now Windows 8 consmer preview. I have a iPhone 4s running iOS5 and a iPad 2 3G. They both have remote potato on them, connected to my Windows 8 media center with dual tv tuners. I used to run a freenas based file server and network that with wifi and ethernet running media servers to share content around the house.

Apart from that I have loads of free time. :)
