Grey screen

Postby Matteo009 » Tue Jul 19, 2011 3:45 am

I would lime to say first that this is one of the coolest apps. I have a couple of issues now. I moved to north Carolina, I'm in the Army. They make me move every couple of years. I get a grey screen when I try to stream recorded tv. It was working great when I lived in Virginia. My setup is a Ceton 4 with two cisco tuning adapters. The only thing that has changed since I moved was i went from using a motorola tuning after which would tune 4 channels to 2 cisco devices. Time Warner cable uses a lot more SDV then Cox in Virginia. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I can stream using remote potato as long as the recording didn't come from a SDV channel. Is there a setting I need to change. The program plays fine in media center.
My other question is:
I'm trying to access movies remotely from a Mac computer using Safari. It keeps telling me that I need a plugin to make it work. I installed siverlight. That didn't resolve the issue. Any ideas?
Thanks for the help in advance! I love the software!

I'm sorry that you haven't received any answer yet.
I am not sure why you are having this problem myself.
Have you tried the HTML-view from your Mac?
You reach it by adding /mainmenu to the end of your address like this: http://192.168.1.5:9080/mainmenu
This will take you to a page that is accessible from all types of computers.

The streaming problem is another thing though. I will let Carlos answer that when he is back.
He is out traveling, but will be back by Monday.
