Crop using custom ffmpeg commands?

Crop using custom ffmpeg commands?

Is there a way to use the custom ffmpeg option to crop video? I want it to trim 8 pixels from all edges. The old ffmpeg crop options made this easy, but the current one does not seem to support this unless you know the dimensions of the video.
